"Ron and Jon is still in the game" as they proclaim on the first track Taste the fist on there new release Working class league. It's been five years since their last album World champion shit and not much have changed in the C-90 camp. They still deliver very effective in-your-face EBM with a very punky attitude.
As usual they have used the talented Håkan (Doghead) Eklund for the artwork on the album. The vinyl version containes a 4 page lyricsheet with cool artwork for each song and have a diffrent cover then the CD-verson.
There have been some progress in the production and the band sounds better then ever. The songs have great energy and most of the songs are really fast and agressive. It's a prefect album to get drunk and energized with before heading the club.
My favorite songs are Raise your finger, Use for news and GrounDead. Another interesting track is the cover of Lennon's Working class hero that ends the album. A bit of a surprise choise for a cover, but C-90 makes it work quite well, and proves that they can do songs in other tempo's then full throttle.
Working class league is a really good album from a band that I feel alot of kindred spirit with. Hurry to get your own copy of the vinyl version, since it is limited to only 110 copies.
