Trisco is DJ Harvey Dawson and Jim Browski. Harvey began as a DJ in London in the mid 90's and spun records at the SW1 Club and at the Wonderland Avenue Club at Plastic People.
In 2000 they started Trisco and released the track Musak, a song heavily influenced by Moroder and Sparks. Ultra was there second release and a real hit on the club charts.
The song is really effective, building up lots of energy, and gets a wonderful boost after ca 1.45, wich makes it almost impossible not wanting to dance. I really love the groove and sound of this track. Allthough it's labeled as progressive house, I belive that EBM-ers and other lovers of hard pounding dance beats can fall in love with this one. The vocals are done by Jon Fugler of Fluke and gives the song a bit of sinister personality. I don't care much for the other remixes on this release, but I think that techno lovers may appreciate them.
I bought my copy through Tradera and payed 4,42 €.
